Sugar Enterprise access model

I am being asked to change the current access model within our on-demand Sugar instance. The 2 diagrams attached illustrate the current and proposed access model.

We do not use Teams, and all our current access is manages through the 'Reports to:' field.

Is this something I need Teams for? Are there options as to how we can implement?

Hi Tom,
The short answer is yes. You should look at setting up the default teams for the Rep and Inside Sales accordingly. This KB should get you started - https://support.sugarcrm.com/Knowledge_Base/Users_Teams_Roles/Roles_vs_Teams/
