We are using Sugar Enterprise 9.1 in Sugar Cloud in a retail B2C environment. When a potential customer enters the store, they are handed an iPad where the watch presentations, answer questions, etc. Once they ar done the sales associate takes the iPad back and then begins the presentation process. I want to connect the iPad to Sugar at this point and create a new Contact in the system. I understand that I need to use a custom platform rather than "base" to make the connection to avoid logging off the previous user of the credentials. As a Sugar "newbie" I am trying to figure out this process and my first question is do I need one custom platform or do I need one for each iPad? There are several stores with roughly six iPads per store.
Any advice on doing this efficiently is appreciated.
