Get email from related contact

I've added a Related Contact field (operational_contact_c) to the Accounts module. I now want to to add a calculated field that returns the email address for the Related Contact. I have played around with a few formulae but can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone have a solution?

Is that a custom relationship or just a relate-type field made in Studio?

If it is just a relate-type field, those modules/records are not actually related, so no formula can be used to pull data across a relationship.

Hi Patrick,

It's a relate-type field made in Studio so that'll be the reason why I can't do it then. Doh!
