Calculated Field Timestamp "now()"

Hi,

i use Sugar Professional 8.

I'd like to set the Timestamp "now()" for a calculated Field (Date/Time).

It works perfectly while creating a new Record.

But when i save the Record the Timestamp sets a value from the Time Dropdown (00, 15, 30, 45).

I'd like to change the Dropdown Values or switch them off for the field but i can't find the Dropdown value table.

Any suggestions?

Screenshot shows the Dropdown Values which are interrupting the Formular.

Hi Lennart,

I think if you simply remove that field from the view, it will not update it the next time you update the record.
Alternatively, try creating the field from code instead of the studio and then add the dependency logic.

Otherwise, you can add an after_save logic hook and set that field's value there.

It may be that just adding the additional time values to the dropdown will solve for you. Although it is a bit of a bummer to have to enter 50+ options. You can test by adding several around the time you are saving so those options exist to test.
For example if the time is around 10:05 enter 03, 04, 05, 06, 07.
