I have purchased Sugarcrm 7.9 and wants to install at local machine. installation of SugarCrm 7.9 professional at local machine for development would decries my purchased licence count.
That is what my experience has shown. I have created test users in non-production instances so I could verify my Roles/Teams configuration.
To the best of my knowledge, Sugar is licensed per named user. You can install one or more development instances as long as they have the same licensed users or a subset of your licensed users on the development machine.
If you have purchased 10 licensees, you have 10 licensee per instance. Currently, Sugar does not check between instance to see if it is the same users in each instance, just that the number does not exceed the purchased licenses. I like this, because I am a developer and create a user for me in my development instance on my machine, but I am not a user in my client's instance.
John, it's mean at my "Production/Development/Test/Local" instances.
I can create same number of users as I have at production or purchased, and each users info as per instances can be different?
