Process Definitions - Send Email if assigned user is changed

Hi All,


I am probably being very basic here but i'm getting stumped. 

We have turned off global notifications as we are running some API requests and assigned user emails are getting out of hand.


With that we still require leads emails to be sent.


I am trying to set up a process definition to run when an assigned user is changed on the record and then send an email to the newly assigned user.


any help or ideas would be great.


**Note: Was able to get this working with the old advanced workflow which will be retired at some stage, but as its not really a permanent fix i'd still like your thoughts.
