adjust column width row and column report

I realize this is an older post, but were you ever able to get an answer?

Beth Benner & Adam Ritchie, this functionality is not natively available in Sugar. Enhancement # 6710 (you need to be a support-authorized contact to view this link) is tracking this desired functionality. I recommend filing a support case with Sugar so they continually weigh the importance of implementing this feature.

I know this is an older post but did you ever made the changes you need in the Reports module? And is there someone else maybe how implemented needed change?
