Hi All,

I am trying to call Custom Entry Points with some arguments from record.js. using SugarCRM version 8.0.

Entry point created using below link:

http://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Sugar_Developer/Sugar_Developer_Guide_7.9/Architecture/Entry_Points/

I am using below code to call the end point.

var strUrl = app.api.buildURL('/index.php?entryPoint=customAssignUser&method=Update_Opportunity_Assigned_User&opportunity_id='+opportunity_id);

app.api.call('read', strUrl, null, {
success: function (data) {
console.log("data:"+data);
},
error: function (data) {
console.log("Error:data:"+data);
},
}, {async: false});

error I am getting is :  SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

Have any body tried to call custom entry point from record.js.

Any help will be appriciated.

Thanks and regards,

Usman
