Sugar CE 6.5.25 (Build 344) not allowing new users or resetting passwords. Please help!

I moved the said Sugar DB from 1 server to another, but have experienced issues with users not being able to access the DB. The admin account was intact, but all the regular user accounts does not work & does not allow for their passwords to be reset.

 

From within an admin account when resetting password I receive the following error:

Cannot send password
System is unable to process your request. Please check: -Recipient Email Address -Your server status

When adding a new user I receive the following error, when the test email came through just fine

Close
Cannot send password
System is unable to process your request. Please check:
-SMTP Server URL and Port
-SMTP Username and SMTP Password
-Recipient Email Address
-Your server status

 

So I test my email settings & it works just fine! Email received.

 Close

Send Test Email
An email was sent to the specified email address using the provided outgoing mail settings. Please check to see if the email was received to verify the settings are correct.

 

Can someone please assist

 

I would really appreciate any help. I am desperate!
