SQL Queries in v11

Question

Hello,

In previous versions of the SugarAPI (v4, v3, etc.) it was possible to perform SQL queries as part of calls to get_entry_list, though I don't see any similar functionality in v11. Is it still possible to perform such queries when requesting records, or has that feature been removed? If it has, is there a suggested alternative to handle those sorts of record retrievals?

Hi Vaughn,

You should check out the Filter API which is part of v10 and newer REST API versions.

This will allow you SQL-like behavior where you can conditionally retrieve sets of records.
