v 8.0.0 - Disable Edit in Preview Pane for specific modules/users

The Role restriction for Edit does cover both Inline and Preview editing, but also prevents Record view editing. This route may be too restrictive depending on your requirements. However it could at least provide a fallback option or a template to build from.

I was unable to locate a comprehensive list of the layouts and views in our Sugar 8 Developer Guide, but they should be listed in the Sugar file system in their stock forms under ./clients/base/layouts/ and ./clients/base/views/

I'm sure it is possible to conditionally enable editing on preview for a specific list of modules.

Double check the folder modules/Notifications/clients/base/views/preview-header. It perfectly covers this behaviour.
