A pop-up window on Sugar appears stating: 'ErrorNo active Time Periods for the current settings.' Despite the fact that in my profile settings the correct time zone is listed.

Does that popup is displayed randomly or is there a pattern?
What is your SugarCRM version?
It is Version 220.127.116.11
It seems to appear randomly when I select an Opportunity (but not an account, contact, or lead)
The issue lies in the forecasting configuration, some time period is missing so SugarCRM can not render a forecasting chart for a given Opportunity. Double check the forecasting configuration in the admin page.
When I try to change the forecasting configuration, it is not an editable field. My account should have all the necessary permissions.
Take a look at this article. Mind you will loose forecasting worksheet.
Also make sure you have the scheduled job active which creates future time periods within your database. Those are needed to work with the forecast module.
