Prevent user from selecting a specific drop down value

Question

We have a scenario where we do not want Sales consultants to be able to select the Closed Lost Sales Stage. They need access to change the Sales Stage to any other value. On-Demand Instance.

Any ideas without having to go to a code solution.

Otherwise you can do this in code in the controller by doing a check on the enum field. It gets more complicated but it's possible.
