Subpanel does not show

I added a one-to-many relationship between a custom module and the meetings module.

The subpanel does not show in the studio and not in the custom module detailview.

When i look at the relationship that was created, i see that the word "default" is missing in the "Subpanel from Meetings". there is nothing written there. this must be the problem:

any other relationship works fine, except the one with the meetings module.

even if i add another one (aa_branches_meetings_2), the other is still missing.

even if i delete the relationship and add it again its the same.

i rebuild and deleted browser cache and opened the system again and it still missing.

i "rebuild relationships" and it doesn't help.

The code of this subpanel (in custom/Extension/modules/aa_Branches/Ext/Layoutdefs/aa_Branches_meetings_1_aa_Branches.php)

seems to be ok and identical to other relationships that does work:

<?php
// created: 2018-01-05 10:19:50
$layout_defs["aa_Branches"]["subpanel_setup"]['aa_branches_meetings_1'] = array (
'order' => 100,
'module' => 'Meetings',
'subpanel_name' => 'default',
'sort_order' => 'asc',
'sort_by' => 'id',
'title_key' => 'LBL_AA_BRANCHES_MEETINGS_1_FROM_MEETINGS_TITLE',
'get_subpanel_data' => 'aa_branches_meetings_1',
'top_buttons' =>
array (
0 =>
array (
'widget_class' => 'SubPanelTopButtonQuickCreate',
),
1 =>
array (
'widget_class' => 'SubPanelTopSelectButton',
'mode' => 'MultiSelect',
),
),
);

Does anyone have an idea or a some suggestion that i could try?

any tip will do

(using CE version 6.5.13)

thank you
