Change Team for all calls attached to a Contact?

We had a sales territory realignment. It was easy to do a mass update of the accounts and Contacts, and I’d like to do a mass update of all the Calls attached to those contacts and accounts to set the new Team. 

I’ve already tried doing a report / export / change Team / import. It adds the new Team, but leaves the old Team as the primary.

Any suggestions?

    when I do a massupdate on calls and update teams I just need to set the new teams and DON'T check the "append Team(s)" checkbox. Running the mass update works fine on my test in Sugar 7.9.0.1

    What you need to do now is to set (import) a flag on the calls you already exported... maybe add a special team or something else or add a new checkbox and import it again for having a filter criteria for the calls list view... then filter for all calls that have this flag and run your mass update on teams. Done. :-)

    My current system is 7.9.2 and the issue is a bit more complex...

    There were about 2,200 Accounts and about 3,500 Contacts that were moved from nine geographic sales territories (Teams) into two "Account name specific" Teams (New sales territories for a specific customer).

    Doing a filter in the Calls module doesn't provide a way to get just the calls that are associated with those accounts or contacts (since there's no filter for the "Related To" fields).

    I pulled the Calls attached to those Contacts (or Accounts) by creating a report.  Once I exported the report, I'm able to import the list into the Calls Module with the new Team (updating the call record).  I may have found a way to replace the Team for the Call instead of appending it in the import and I'm testing that now.

    yes I noticed that and edited my reply, please read the last part again. I refered to your export and recommended to import something you can "flag" the calls with having availalbe for your filter in the list view,.... maybe you can add a new team called "to be changed" to the calls and import it additionally... then you can filter for it and do a mass change of all calls included in your report

    The export & import of the calls records with new values for the "Teams", "Team ID", and "Team Set ID" worked.

    It was tedious to export and import the thousands of call records, but it look like I got it done.
