Why are custom add-ons and integrations no longer allowed on SugarCRM Trials?

Question asked by Chad Hutchins on Oct 20, 2017

I noticed when someone starts a 7-day free trial for SugarCRM, they are no longer able to install custom add-ons and integrations with the module loader.

Does anyone know why that changed?

Many folks who are looking for a new CRM will use the Sugar Trial to test the Sugar integrations with their other systems they already use. For example, if they're a heavy Zendesk use they want to see what the Sugar & Zendesk integration looks like. Right now there's no path for them to try this out without having to wait and contact someone, which usually means they're going to bounce and find something else.

Is there anyway to re-enable this for Sugar Trials?
