Prevent Product Catalogue items from being added to Quoted Line Items

Question

How can we make a Product Catalogue item obsolete so that users cannot select it in Quoted Line Items ?

I saw reference to using Teams but as far as I can see Teams are not available for the Product Catalogue. I was thinking of creating an "Obsolete Products"Team and changing the products to that team and this would stop non Admin users from seeing these items but this does not look possible.

The Availability field is just a drop down and informational.

Sorry - that I didn't get back to this. We sorted this out by realising that the Product Catalogue is really only a template for a Quoted Line Item. So when a Product is obsolete, it can be deleted from the Product Catalogue without affecting existing Quoted Line Items. Not an ideal solution but it works.
