Notify user if an Account logs a number of calls within a defined time period

Hello,

 

I've been playing around with Process Definitions and I'm pretty sure there is no way to do this without custom code. I thought I'd ask here just in case. As the title says, I'm looking for a way to notify a user if an Account logs a number of calls within a defined period of time. So let's say an Account calls the company 3 times in one month, we would like a customer relations user notified about it. Any ideas?
