When cancelling a meeting the email should contain a message which clearly reflects that the meeting is cancelled and the attached ical should cancel the meeting in the recipients calendar. By default sugar simply sends the standard invite message.
My idea is to extend the meeting bean and override the functionality to handle cancellation more gracefully. It's also clear that the ical format supports cancellation of events (iCalendar - Wikipedia) is there a good reason why this was never implemented in sugar as standard?
Has anybody here ever tried to tackle this before?
Thanks in advance,
