Process Definition Change Issue

I'm working on a process definition and it has been triggering fine and consistently visible in the process management screen. I made a change in the design canvas by removing an intermediate action. Now the process won't trigger at all and hence not being shown in process management screen. I have logged out and in, disabled and enabled and even added back the intermediate action but still the process won't start. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there some sort of lag from when changes like this take affect in advanced workflow?
