I have tagged some new opportunities and need to create a report showing just the opportunities that I have tagged. How do I do that?
Hi Dick Hughes
Here is an example of filter using Tags. I want to see all Opportunities with the tag "46" that have Expected Close Date this year:
Then you would pick the Group by and Display columns. You should be able to do this kind of filter on any report type.
Thank you very much, Kristjan. I will try this. Do you know of any good external sources to learn about how to create Sugar reports?
I am fairly new to this part of Sugar and have a hard time following the online documentation.
Kristjan - Tried your suggestion but when I select Opportunities as a Module, I don't see "Tags" as an option in the Fields dialog box. Am I doing something wrong?
You are doing right by selecting Opportunities as a Module. If you scroll all the way down in the Related Modules (above the Available Fields box), Tags should show up there, see pic:
Yes, I did find that and somewhat successfully created a test report. I just seem to get confused as to whether I need to keep selecting in the Related Modules dialog and/or when to start selecting in the Fields dialog boxes. The online directions just don't read very clearly for me. Thanks for your help.
Yes it is not very clear. Just make sure that in the very last step of creating the report, you check the Opportunities -> Tags box by "Optional Related Modules", see pict.
HTH and have a great weekend,
