How can we request a Defect fix be escalated?

SugarCRM, Inc. Defect 68461: Can't search non primary email in 7.x

was filed in version 7.1 and is still marked as Urgent but there seems to be no targeted resolution. 

I just confirmed this still happens in 7.8 Pro.

Is there any way we could encourage an escalation to have this fixed?
