As above, I can select 1000 at a time but no more than this. I want to download it to send for an audit
Your most expedited method would be to simply create a backup of the database.
If you are using Sugar On-Demand, you can request a backup of your data by submitting a case with the request via the Support Case Portal (http://support.sugarcrm.com/ )
Hi Ross,You can export records by different approaches,
Do you mean I have to export 1000 records at a time?
I am not completely sure what type of SugarCRM system we use (the URL includes the wording 'enablecloud'?) This all seems very inconvenient in not being able to access our own data.
Another way is to create a Rows & Columns report which you can export as a .csv file.
Depending how many records you have this might be the easiest way, plus it allows to configure what kind of data from the module you want to export.
Hope that helps, Dennis
Ok. I'll try that but we have about 8000 records.
Sounds good, let me know if that worked for you. In case you run into some server limit a simple solution is to split it into two or more lists by for example adding a filter that on the first run lists all records newer than 2 years ago and on second one older than 2 years ago.
One more option is exporting all your data at once with a tool Cloudbee provides: https://cloudbee.com/sugarcrm-talend-component/
