Having trouble sending the reset password email to user

Hello,

 

 I am having some trouble figuring out why when I use the reset password function, instead of sending the reset password email, the system sends out the email for a newly created user account. 

 I am using SugarCRM CE 6.5 and my colleagues have done some heavy coding to enable a custom module. But before we set out with this process, I tested both functions of the new user account email system and it worked as intended.

We are using the External email function when sending a system generated email.

 

 

The templates we use are as follows :

1 System generated password when user account is created:

 

Buna $contact_user_user_name,

 

Bine ai venit in aplicatia SugarCRM utilizata in compania xxxx xxx.

Ti-am creat un cont in aplicatie cu urmatoarele informatii de mai jos:

  • Link Aplicatie$config_site_url
  • Nume utilizator: $contact_user_user_name
  • Parola (temporara): $contact_user_user_hash

 

2 Request reset password email:

Buna $contact_user_user_name,

 

Bine ai venit in aplicatia SugarCRM utilizata in compania xxxx xxx.

Ai solicitat recent pe $contact_user_pwd_last_changed resetarea parolei pentru contul tau din aplicatie. Pentru aceasta, te rog sa dai click pe linkul de mai jos si sa completezi o alta parola de acces:

$contact_user_link_guid
