Rest v10 metadata API

If you need to do it on sidecar use this:

app.api.call('read','/rest/v10/metadata?type_filter=modules,fields&module_filter=Accounts');

to test the line above, go to sugar, open the chrome developer tools and in the console put:

var tt = App.api.call('read','/rest/v10/metadata?type_filter=modules,fields&module_filter=Accounts');

tt.xhr.success(function(res){console.log(res.modules.Accounts.fields.name);})

You get a response like:

In the vname key it's the label name

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time. The metadata api gives more info about sugarcrm's database. But I want information regarding the layout. For instance in v4 endpoint, we have the get_module_fields(). The following link says this api has been succeeded by a new version. where is the new version ?

I found solution for this. We have to call the API: /lang/:lang . This returns the Display labels
