Auto responder email is not going out to contacts. Wondering if anyone has run into this issue and if there is a resolution.

Inbound emails receive auto responder email to the person/email address that has raised a case to the inbound email addresses in sugarcrm.So i do not find a question of contacts coming in to the matter.Please correct me if i am wrong.

We have it set so that whenever someone creates a case from email that the auto responder email template will go out to that email address that created the case (saying - we've received your case, etc etc.). All SMTP settings are set up correctly and tested successfully but the auto responder is not being sent out to that email address that created the case. Does this help?
ok i haven't encountered such a problem but you can debug the issue in the file.
You can debug by changing the admin -> system setting log level to fatal and going through sugarcrm.log file and also checking the errors log in you server for example tail -f /var/log/apache2/error.log.Do this by sending the email to the inboud email address and when the scheduler runs check for the logs.This will definitely help you.
