Can I define the colors in charts so every user has its own color?

Question

I want to define the colors in e.g. a Vertical Bar Chart so every user has its own color, in order to become recognizable when quickly reviewing charts.

I have multiple reports showed as charts on my dashboard, mainly as Vertical Bar Charts, I want the users to have their own colors - so Anna is always red and Daniel is always Blue in the different charts etc., is this possible to configure ?

You can manipulate the colors on charts, but it requires code. If you want it to be dynamic, you'll need to code the logic that determines which colors are assigned to a given user or other data point.

Here is a Gist of an example chart I've created in the past. You'll notice that the chart's controller (conversion-stats.js) defines some parameters relevant to the rendering of the chart, including colors:
