column order while exporting

Question

Hi All,

Currently i am in 7.6.1.0 when i click on export in the list view.

The order of columns in the .csv is name,id etc

I want to get the id first.

Can any one update me regarding this.

You can override the export API in clients/base/api/ExportApi.php by placing a file in custom/ clients/base/api/ExportApi.php and following this guide - http://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Sugar_Developer/Sugar_Developer_Guide_7.6/API/Web_Services/Extending_Web_Servi&hellip; . However I'd highly recommend you don't do that and solve the problem another way as you'd be overriding a pretty core file for a relatively minor change. Why is the order important? Could the problem be solved another way - e.g. through batch scripting - batch to move columns in a CSV file - Stack Overflow .
