Our company has a few stages that are closed Won but have different statuses based on delivery of the service. Currently forecasting and some other functions don't work for me as I have more than one closed Won field. Is it possible to have multiple sales stages act as close won.
Or should I add a different field that is for delivery of service and use only closed won for when a deal is sold?
I'd recommend an extra field, or turn the opportunity into a quote and use that to track delivery. The opportunity stage is meant to convey at what stage this opportunity is at. Once it's been accepted, it's no longer an opportunity.
Basically an extra field is the path of least resistance - why make things more complicated for yourself?
