When creating a Contact with the same first and last name of an existing contact, the duplicate record check seems to only run against contacts within the same Account. But if you create the same Contact at a separate Account, the duplicate check does not pick it up.
Sometimes we get the same contact popping up at other Accounts and would like to monitor / prevent those duplicates from being created. Has anyone run into this issue and found a solution?
