I am trying to timestamp a field when another field is checked. For example we have a direct mailer campaign and I want to timestamp a field called activation time when the agent checks off direct mailer activated. Best way to do this?
Hi Jake Vernon
What is your SugarCRM version?
We are using 7.6.0 Enterprise edition. Thanks
Through Studio you can setup the field as a calculated one.
The funcion may be something like that:
Great thanks! I got it to create, but how do I convert that to an actual date now? For today it just saved as 1470024000
The issue I'm having is if I use the now() and I edit the record, but not uncehck and then recheck the box, it still updates the time when I save the record. Thats the issue I'm trying to overcome.
I believe this SugarLogic do the trick.
Out of curiosity why do I use $annual_revenue as a check for blank?
I just forgot to replace the field I tested by the one you needed.
I figured, but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help.
