Best practice: Exporting custom "stuff" from dev to production

As Hussain Nasir has stated, the custom dropdowns will also be exported when exporting customisations from Studio. What you need to be aware of is that a custom dropdown will only be exported if it is being used in a field within the module. For example, if I have a custom dropdown which is not assigned to any field, then it will not be exported. It needs to be assigned to a field in Accounts for example and then the tickbox for Accounts needs to be checked when exporting customisations.

Thanks for clarifying the "usage" in regards to dropdown. In my limited experience, I had noticed once that the dropdown did not transfer over (and that is why I kept asking about it). Now it makes sense - it wasn´t used in a field

The export customization button does not export changes done in the "custom" folder manually, like overriding the custom/themes/custom.less

Any idea on how to export these changes?
