I have exported reports to a CSV that has a text area with multiple lines in it. I am using a "|" as my delimiter as it is a character that we never use in the data. The problem that I am having is that when I import the data into excel using the "Get External Data from text" guide, the preview is already showing that whenever there is a another line (more than one) in the text area field it is separating it and starting a new row. We use the text area field to put details that relate to another cost field. This was just added and our clients would like these reports.
Does anyone have an idea of how this can be fixed or another way that I should be doing this?
