The Advanced Search Form with all the fields (and the 1990's interface designed for 800x600 screens) is ugly and takes up a huge chunk of real-estate at the top of the screen. The only way to make it go away appears to be clicking the 'basic search' link. However when you come back to the same list view, it defaults back to showing the Advanced Search. If you click the basic search and then hit the search button, it reverts the view back to the default list view and not the chosen saved view. This is comical!
How the heck to make the list view default to a saved view but without the advanced search for open?
