Fields not updating in new modules

Branched to a new discussion

Hi all,

I have created a new package and subsequently created some new modules within it, and deployed everything.

I then added new fields and deployed. Finally, I imported data into these modules and matched the source fields to the target fields in the module.

All good so far.

However...

When I try to manually update any of the fields in these modules, the following happens:

  • If I enter data into an empty field (Edit -> Save), the data is saved.
  • If I then try to change that field, where I previously entered data, it is not saved. I click Save but the change is not picked up.

Is there a reason as to why the changes are not being picked up?

Thanks in advance,
Paul

EDIT: Two further points

  • If I change that field to a Required Field, then the data saves fine
  • If I view my module through Module Builder -> <package name> -> <module name> -> Fields, then my custom fields don't appear. However, if I view through Studio, then they do. Why is this, and would it make a difference to the above?
