How to archive emails to Sugar without the Outlook Plug-in?

Until this releases, you may want to investigate the use of Sugar Email Archiving, which can be performed from any device or mail client.

Thanks for a speedy response, I came across the link earlier this evening and attempted to enable sugar email archiving and recieved this message:

An error occurred while attempting to communicate with the Email Archiving server, and the service could not be enabled: Failed to call back to the SugarCRM instance.
Please try again or contact SugarCRM Support.

any ideas?

Assuming you are hosting your Sugar instance on your servers, we have an article, Enabling Sugar Email Archiving, http://support.sugarcrm.com/Knowledge_Base/Administration/Email/Enabling_Sugar_Email_Archiving/#Troubleshootingthat provides a variety of troubleshooting steps that may help. That should cover most of the standard reasons for this error.

Sugar provides every customer with an email archiving address, which gives you the ability to archive emails to Sugar from any device at any time.

First, you must enable email archiving. To do this, go to  Admin  Email Archiving. You will then need to agree to the terms, and enable email archiving.

Are you open to using the email module of SugarCRM? I would like to believe this is the easiest way you can archive emails to any Sugar records until such time the latest outlook plugin is released.
