SugarCRM 7 equivalent urls for creating records

Thanks for the information. Given that 7.6 is no longer supporting the #bwc url for calls (I was using it to bring up pre-populated "new call" forms already associated to an Account), is there any way of achieving the same with the new URLs?

I tried passing arguments along the lines of ".../#Accounts/create?phone_office=1234" or ".../?phone_office=1234#Accounts/create" but had no success. Is this possible without custom development?

Easiest way to deal with this requirement you may have to overwrite your create API or have to create your custom API.

To create you custom API please refer Existing Web Services.

You can accomplish this via custom development.  From JavaScript, it is possible to open a Create view with values pre-populated.  It is just not possible via URL alone.  I think this is a good feature request though!  Create an Idea please!

From Sidecar JavaScript, this is fairly straight forward.  You can create a bean and pre-populate it and then pass it to the create record drawer.

var bean = app.data.createBean('Accounts', {
     name: 'Test Name', 
     website: 'http://localhost/'
});
app.drawer.open({ 
     layout: 'create', 
     context: { 
          create: true, 
          module: bean.module, 
          model: bean 
     }
});

How can I open "Convert Lead" drawer using same method?

You could re-use the Leads module's convertbutton field to perform this operation.  This is probably best since it will make sure that the way you open the Lead Conversion drawer is the same.

You can find the call to app.drawer.open() at modules/Leads/clients/base/fields/convertbutton/convertbutton.js.
