Since the need for social media support is real nowadays, we figured we setup the Twitter connector for our SugarCRM 7.6.1
We noticed a lot of limitations and for us, its only of little use at the moment. Here are a few examples:
- You are only limited to see the tweets made by a particular twitter account. Not the replies in a thread where most of the complaints come from. In the real world, it's difficult and cumbersome to monitor all your customers twitter accounts.
- There is no way for us to be notified of any mentions, retweets or likes.
Is there any plans for adding more functionalities to Twitter in the future? We also would love to see Facebook to have something similar.
