How to send email notification to a contact related to a case using Process Author

We are playing around with the Process Author at the moment to replicate our existing processes in the legacy workflow. The workflow actually is very simple and nothing fancy but can't seem to find how to do it in Process Author. I am not sure if this is a system limitation (I seriously hope its not) or there's just something that i am missing.

 

Also, I am suspecting Process Author only works for one-to-one and one-to-many relationships but not many-to-many. Which in this case is true for Contacts and Cases module.

 

Anyway the scenario is this:

 

1. A case is created in SugarCRM.

2. After a case is created, an acknowledgement email will be sent to the associated contact.

 

Here is a screenshot of the definition of the case.

When we try to configure the "send message" settings to send it to an associated contact, I can't seem to find the contact's module.

Is this a bug in Process Author? Or it's just not designed to cater for this kind of worklow? If it's a limitation, are there any workarounds?

 

Would appreciate any help.
