It is possible to use custom Dashlets in Mobile Version 2.8.X in My Dashboard View?

Custom Dashlets are not supported at this time but we are looking to support it this year. Timing is still in flux

Any news on this? Or when it is planned to be implemented?

Hi there, unfortunately, I don't believe Sugar Mobile supports custom dashlets out of the box. There aren't many requests for it either so I would guess that it won't be on the roadmap for a while, sorry! It is possible via the Mobile SDK though, if that is an option for you.

To let the Products group know that you are interested in a specific feature, you can file a case with the Support team so that they can log an enhancement request. That way, the Products group can track the request and see how many people are asking for it.

Thanks for your reply. Yet I am constantly surprised by how "special" our customers seem to be. Most of them (at least those above 30 users) are expecting feature parity in the mobile app. Dashlets are intersting on the desktop (although they would need a bit of work IMHO), and it's a pity that the mobile version does not get them fully. 

I'll follow your suggestion, though, and file a couple enhancement tickets.
