Manually export customizations made in Studio

Question asked by on Nov 2, 2015

I am currently hosting on MediaTemple's (MT) Grid and this is proving inefficient for the speed/reliability we need for our Sugar 6.5.20 Community install.

I have spun up a Digital Ocean (DO) instance and have everything up and working with Sugar 6.5.22 Community.

After importing the database from the MT server to the DO server, I did not see the customizations that we made in Admin > Rename Modules. After some research, it appears that the recommended practice is to use the interface at Admin > Studio, select modules and export.

After attempting this, I'm getting the following error in my PHP log:

[Sun Nov 01 18:29:37 2015] [crit] [client xx.xx.x.xx] (13) Permission denied: /home/XXXXXX/domains/ pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable

So, I research this and looks like httpd is unable to check whether a .htaccess file exists and I need to have httpd stop looking for .htaccess files by setting AllowOverride None in httpd.conf. The problem is that I do not have control over the httpd.conf.

My question, can I manually export customizations made in Studio? If so, how do I do this? Maybe there's a better way to migrate this data? Any help would be appreciated!
