Can't send campaign emails - scheduler module is missing and send date defaults to 1970

I think we're using Professional, but not sure.

I'm trying to use the campaign function and have followed the process to the letter, but emails aren't getting sent. General email works fine and I receive test emails from there, but I cannot get the campaign emails to send at all. The support literature suggests checking Admin > Schedulers and enabling 'run nightly mass email campaigns' but I don't appear to have this function. Additionally, the 'send on' date keeps defaulting to 01-01-1970, despite me carefully selecting the right date every time.
