Calls and Meetings quickcreate not behaving consistently

I'm upgrading from 7.5 to 7.6 (Pro on-site) so I'm getting the new Sidecar version of the Calls and Meetings modules.

The problem I have is with the quick-create rolldown screens.

If I'm on a contact record and click on the '+' icon by the calls or meetings subpanel, it behaves as expected. That is, the contact is prefilled in the scheduled window and the 'related to' field is set to accounts and pre-filled with the contact's parent account record.

However, if I click on the '+' quick-create downdown on the main menu bar and select call or meeting, then the contact is set in the scheduler and also in the 'related to' field (which is now set as contact).

Can other 7.6 users confirm this is what occurs to them - or is one of my customisations effecting this?
