Inbound email downloading error.. it is showing "Checking for New Email" for a long time and nothing happens

i'm using the sugarcrm version 6.5.15.

i have added the inbound configuration in group email settings tab. and when i check the pop settings, that also successful.

and if i click the done button. it is checking for new emails for that account. after that nothings happens.

anyone know the reason, is anything like firewall is blocking, how can i recover?
