Upgrade failed

Question asked by Michael S on Aug 14, 2015
I am using 6.1.8 CE in a local installation on Linux. When I start the upgrade process (6.1.x to 6.2.2) Preflight test of the upgrade wizard is OK but when I try to upload the upgrade package nothing happens but sugar jumps to the home screen. No error reports in the log. But system seams to run in a loop

Created a new blank installation of 6.1.8 and tried to upgrade but got the same behaviour. Log:
