How to Change background color of record at listview in case module ??

I want to change background color of record on listview of case module.
if status is New or startdate.

please help !!

Very simple Bhandari..
include\ListView\ListViewGeneric.tpl.... try this tpl file to change background color... if still can't change background color means let me know i will help you..

just find <tr height='20' class='{$_rowColor}S1'> here you simply add any class like <tr height='20' class='{$_rowColor}S1 newclass'> or give inline style like <tr height='20' class='{$_rowColor}S1' style='background:#000;' >

for example if you want display some background color if status is new means do following:

{php}
$color='';
$status_val=$this->_tpl_vars['rowData']['STATUS'];
if(isset($status_val)&&$status_val=='New'){$color='blackcolor';}
{/php}

<tr height='20' class='{$_rowColor}S1' {php}if($color=='blackcolor'){echo '<style>background:#000;</style>';}{/php} >

hi bhandari. try this for status new

just find <tr height='20' class='{$_rowColor}S1'> and instead of this do follow

{php}
$color='';
    $status_val=$this->_tpl_vars['rowData']['STATUS'];
    if(isset($status_val)&&$status_val=='New'){$color='blackcolor';}
   {/php}
   <tr height='20' class='{$_rowColor}S1' {php}if($color=='blackcolor'){ echo 'style="background:#000"'; } {/php}>

If we use custom folder(custom\include\ListView\ListViewGeneric.tpl) then only upgrade safe, but now i think not upgrade safe.. when i tried in custom folder its not working.. I will let you know if i find out anything about upgrade safe...
