Do you mean you are getting " Database failure. Please refer to sugarcrm.log for details."?
Check your config.php for the correct database settings.
May be you will be missing some fields. Try quick repair and rebuild and execute queries if it appears.
Do refer to sugarcrm.log and apache error log
