Recurring payment opportunity forecasting.

Need to set up a single manageable opportunity in SugarCRM that has an initial signing fee and then recurring payments over the course of the contract. We've just upgraded to Enterprise as we seemed to be led to believe that this version will support "recurring drops" of payments in opportunities, but for the life of me I can't find any documentation that explains how to do this. Any ideas?

If we can't work this out without spending thousands on external consultants and hours coding, our CEO's going to drop Sugar like a school-case and move over to Salesforce so quickly it'll make heads spin... 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
