Upgrade to 7.5.2 from 6.5.16

I'm running a test upgrade from 6.5.16 PRO to 7.5.2 and have managed to get through the process, albeit with a generic error at the Post Upgrade stage. I have logged in to the new interface however it appears that ALL modules that AREN'T running in BWC mode (e.g. Contacts and Accounts?) kick me out and redirect me to the Adminstrative area. I see the URL has action=LicenseSettings in it however I have validated the license successfully.

Has anyone had this problem before and is there a fix?
