SugarCRM 7.5.0.1 Professional
Users have set up dashlets in their Home Dashboards and found inconsistencies between the Dashlet results and the Dashlet Filters for each.
I will use an example to better explain
This appears to be a problem when you have multiple dashlets on the same module, for example "Cases", with intersecting result sets.
For example I can reproduce the issue by creating three dashlets, two with distinct data sets and one that intersects the previous two:
Closed Cases (filter by status = closed)
Assigned Cases (filter by status = assigned)
All My Cases (regardless of status)
Save the dashboard and results look fine.
Close the browser tab, then reopen it and the three dashlets show results in any/all of the three statuses regardless of the filters.
Remove the All My Cases dashlet. Close the tab and reopen it and the two remaining are sorted per their filters as it should be.
Re-add the All My Cases dashlet and close/reopen the tab in the browser and they are messed up again.
